Refund & Returns Policy
Thank you for your purchase with Best Jacket Maker. We hope you are completely happy with your jacket. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return it for a full refund or an exchange. Please review the details below.
1. Returns
- All returns must be postmarked within 20 days of the purchase date.
- Because our products are made-to-order, delivery typically takes 8-9 days, leaving approximately 11-12 days to inspect and initiate a return.
- After the 20-day window, we will not accept returns.
- Items must be returned in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.
2. Size-related issues
- A 100% refund will only be provided if you replied to our size confirmation email within 24 hours of receiving it. This email contains detailed guidance on measurements (chest, waist, shoulder, length) and is the customer’s responsibility.
- If the jacket you receive does not match the confirmed measurements, you are eligible for a 100% refund.
- If the jacket matches the confirmed measurements but you still experience sizing issues, you may request an exchange or a 70% refund.
- Because each jacket is tailored to your provided size, accurate confirmation is critical.
3. Delayed, damaged or defective items
- If your item is not delivered within 30 days, or arrives damaged or defective, you are eligible for a 100% refund, provided the return and refund process is followed correctly.
4. Return process
- To request a return or exchange, email us at contact@bestjacketmaker.com with your order number and clear images of the issue.
- For size issues: send images of you wearing the jacket showing how it fits incorrectly.
- For faults or defects: send images clearly showing the problem.
- Once we review your submission and issue an RMA number, you must ship the item back, to an address we provide. Return shipping costs will be borne by you.
5. Refunds
- After we receive your return and inspect it, please allow at least 10 days for processing. We will notify you by email once your refund is issued.
- When returning for a refund, you must upload the tracking information (tracking code and shipping carrier) within 1-2 days of lodging your return; failure to do so may disqualify you from a refund.
6. Exchanges
- To request an exchange, follow the same process as returns (see section 4).
- For size-related exchanges: you must provide updated measurements and we will manufacture a replacement jacket accordingly.
- For defective items: once verified, we will create and ship a replacement.
- Important: Only one exchange per jacket is permitted. Once the replacement is delivered, no further exchanges or refunds on that original jacket are allowed.
- We will only ship the replacement after receiving the original returned jacket.
7. Custom size orders / customized products
- Because these items are made-to-order for your specifications, we do not accept returns for full refunds.
- Instead you may:
- Claim a 70% refund, or
- Request an exchange for a different jacket of equal value (you pay only shipping).
We strive to meet your expectations, so please review all measurements and specifications carefully.
8. Cancellations
- If you cancel your order within 24 hours, a platform fee of $10 USD will be deducted from your refund.
- If you cancel after 24 hours, 25% of your order amount will be deducted and 75% refunded. This reflects our made-to-order process and the fact we don’t maintain stock.
9. Refund policy for correctly shipped orders
- If you incorrectly placed an order but we shipped the correct jacket, you are eligible for a 75% refund, as 25% of the amount covers shipping and processing costs. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify all details before ordering.
